LIVESTREAMING: Ministry of Information press briefing on coronavirus

The Ministry of Information is holding another edition of its Minister’s Press Briefing to bring Ghanaians up to speed with the government of Ghana’s fight against the outbreak of coronavirus in the country.

Issues to be focused on are testing programmes initiated by government, concerns surrounding backlog cases, as well as other health concerns being affected by the COVID-19 response programme.

Meanwhile, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) announced that Ghana's Coronavirus case count has risen to 2,719 with 294 recoveries and a death toll of 18 as at Monday, May 5, 2020.

The update meant that Ghana has recorded 550 additional cases of COVID-19 just two days after at the previous update which stood at 2169 as at May 2, 2020.
