LIVESTREAMING: Ministry of Information press briefing on coronavirus

As Ghana continues to witness a steep rise amidst the coronavirus cases, the Information Ministry will on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, hold a press conference to provide an update to citizens on the latest mitigating measures by government.

The country recorded 6,808 COVID-19 cases, 2,070 recoveries and a death toll of 32 according to the Ghana Health Service (GHS) as at May 25, 2020.

Today’s press briefing will have government provide an update on the over 200 Ghanaian deportees from Kuwait, an update on the latest case count and management as well as clarity on the dynamics pertaining to the coronavirus.

Meanwhile, the President over the weekend disclosed government will by the end of the week conclude stakeholder consultations towards easing the Coronavirus restrictions.

President Nana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo added he will soon announce to Ghanaians a roadmap for easing the restrictions which has seen a ban on public and social gatherings, closures of borders, schools and religious activities.
