Happening now at Parliament is the Minority reacting to claims by President Akufo-Addo that former President Mahama did nothing to help in the cocoa sector.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo during his tour in the Western Region accused John Dramani Mahama of failing to sustain gains chalked by the Kufuor and Mills’ administration in cocoa production.
According to President Akufo-Addo, the country experienced a significant decline to 700,000 tonnes under Mahama and further challenged Mahama to name a policy his administration introduced to boost the production of cocoa in the country.
