The swell in number of ministers from 110 to 123 within a matter of 2 years, particularly when the justification for the high numbers initially was to clear the ‘mess’ created by the previous government.

13 more names were added as ministers-designate and deputy ministers-designates for the new regions. The current administration now has 35 ministers more than its predecessor led by John Mahama which had 88 ministers.
Also to feature is issues surrounding the new expose on galamsey released by Ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas. The piece focuses on exposing rot on the part of some top government officials and security personnel whose shady deals is slowing down progress in the eradication of galamsey.
A leaked tape with the voice of NDC Chairman, Ofosu Ampofo has made rounds since its release Tuesday. The tape which captures the Chairman making very sensitive comments has been condemned by the NPP amidst denial by the NDC.
