Members of Parliament have resumed discussions on the 2026 Budget Statement and Economic Policy, following its presentation by the Minister of Finance on November 13, 2025.
On November 18, 2025, Parliament unanimously adopted the report of the Committee on Economy and Development, which recommended a review of the Investment Policy and the management of the Ghana Petroleum Funds.
The decision, made under Section 30(1)(a) of the Petroleum Revenue Management Act, 2011 (Act 815), is aimed at ensuring that Ghana maximises revenue from its petroleum resources.
Parliament also approved a $10.46 million tax waiver for Tata Consultancy Services Ltd to implement the Integrated Tax Administration System (ITAS) project for the Ghana Revenue Authority.
