Currently happening at Holiday Inn is a public forum on the state capture of $30billion in the oil industry.
The programme organised by the Caucus for Democratic Governance expects to have Former CEO of GNPC, Alex Mould as well as Franklin Cudjoe, Paa Kwesi Anamua Sakyi and Dr. Steve Manteaw mount the podium to address issues related to the AGM/Aker Energy deal.
Various institutions and individuals have raised concerns about the deal, with IMANI Africa warning that the country stans to lose a $30billion oil find to the Norwegian company if government doesn't act fast to protect the state's interest
The estimated 450 million to 550 million barrels of oil – found in two wells – was discovered in February and March 2019.
