Land guards butcher workers of Great Mission International Children's Home

Some developers working on a construction site belonging to Great Mission International Children’s Home were subjected to severe beatings by suspected land guards at Dodowa in the Greater Accra Region.

The purported land guards, numbering about 20, proceeded to destroy some construction materials, including cement bags and building blocks.

Narrating the barbaric incident to HotfmOnlinegh.com, the Chief Executive Officer of Great International Mission Children’s Home, Mr John A. Nyavor said:

“Great Mission is an international license Children’s home located at Nungua, we have many Children from the social welfare, Police headquarters and the traffic Unit, where we are now is a rented place, so I was able to purchase eight plots of land to build a community home for the Children but unfortunately there were some land guards who came in and sold the land at Dodowa when I travelled to the US…so I was able to purchase the land again but there is this guy called John Kwaku Yeboah who is still there encroaching on the land, conniving with land guards to beat us, wound us and they really hurt us so very much,” John sadly told HotfmOnlinegh.com.

John, expressing his frustration with the Police for failing on several occasions to effect any arrest each time a report is made indicated sorrowfully that:

“This is not the first time we are being attacked by these land guards but we are yet to see any serious action taken against them by the police from the headquarters, Tema Police Station, etc”.

The victims sustained various injuries as a result of the severe beatings they received from the land guards.

John appealed to the police to act dispassionately and bring the perpetrators of these constant attacks to book.
