Accra, (Greater Accra) Aug. 6, - A 29-year-old landlord, Bless Kulero, who allegedly broke into the room of one of his tenant's at dawn raped the couple's nine-year old daughter and stole their 4.5 million cedis has been remanded in prison custody until August 12 by an Accra circuit tribunal
The plea of Kulevo was not taken when he appeared before the tribunal chaired by Mrs Elizabeth Anderson Yeboah on yesterday.
According to Police Inspector Alexd Yartey Tawiah, prosecuting, on June 29, this year, Mrs Jngleen Choi, a Korean and her husband, who live in the same house with Kulevo, heard their daughter weeping and rushed to her room.
They found her bleeding from her private part and when qurestioned she mentioned the name of the accused as the one who sneaked into her room and raped her.
A further search revealed that the accused also stole a camera, a wrist watch and a 4.5 milluion cedis belonging to Mrs Choi.
Mrs Anderson Yeboah ordered the prosecution to seek advice from the Attoney Genera`s office.
