The Dutch Embassy that Peter Zwart, the Dutch diplomat who together with his Antillean wife brutally assaulted a Safetech security guard has sneaked out of the country for “vacation” in the wake of the controversy.
According to multiple sources at the Royal Dutch Embassy, they are not in support of any human rights abuses and that “If what they are hearing is true then it is very unfortunate.”
The Foreign Affairs Ministry of Ghana has also not issued any statement on the issue.
Meanwhile, observers say they are watching how the case will unfold but hoped that investigations by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs would not be that of a whitewash.
