An unknown lawyer is plotting to secure a court injunction to restrain the Ghana FA from organizing the final round of matches in the Premier League over the hanging appeal of Asante Kotoko.
The Kumasi-based club are still seething over their docked points over the use of Obed Owusu who the Disciplinary Committee ruled was unqualified to have played against Hearts of Oak.
Kotoko have since lodged an appeal to the DC’s ruling but issues an ultimatum for their appeal to be heard on Wednesday ahead of the final round of matches this weekend.
But per the laid done procedures, it appears the appeal by Kotoko cannot be heard by the deadline of the ultimatum issues to the Ghana FA.
An unknown lawyer is thus plotting to secure a court injunction to halt the Ghanaian top flight until the appeal is heard, Sportscrusader.com sources have revealed.
The court injunction is likely to be secured by the end of the week.
This will restrain the GFA from going ahead to organize the final round of matches for the 2014/15 First Capital Plus League season.
