Accra, Jan. 17, GNA - The Lebanese Foreign Minister Fawzi Salloukh arrived in Accra on Tuesday for a two-day official visit. The Chief Director of Immigration of the Lebanese Foreign Ministry, Mr Haissan Jomoah, accompanied him Mr Salloukh told journalists at the Kotoka International Airport that he would hold discussions with his Ghanaian counterpart Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on a wide range of issues bordering on the relationship between the two countries. He noted that Ghana and Lebanon had enjoyed long standing relations that covered commercial, cultural and social issues. Mr Salloukh mentioned the exemplary performance of Ghanaian soldiers in UN peacekeeping operations in Lebanon and stressed that it was a historic landmark to the credit of Ghana, which Lebanon continued to cherish with admiration.
