The Member of Parliament for the Adentan Constituency, Hon Nii Ashie Moore has called on all in the Ledzokuku Constituency to support the second term bid of Hon Benita Sena Okity-Duah, the Member of Parliament for the Ledzokuku Constituency.

Speaking at a novelty General Meeting organized for the NDC members in the Ledzokuku Constituency at Martey Tsuru, a suburb of Teshie on Wednesday, Hon Nii Ashie Moore noted that even though the current term is the first for Hon Benita Sena Okity-Duah, she has distinguished herself so well and that another term for the MP will see her achieving greater successes for the Constituency.

“You must retain your MP, Hon Benita Sena Okity-Duah. Because of her hard work in Parliament, your Constituency is one of the highly rated Constituencies in Ghana today”, he said to the delight of the numerous NDC party faithful present.

He further asked for the support of all “level 100 Members of Parliament”

On her part, Hon Benita Sena Okity-Duah used the occasion to thank her Constituents for their continuous support for her and the NDC. She assured the constituents in Martey Tsuru that their needs remain paramount to her and she will work hard to meet their expectations.

Further, the MP who also doubles as the Deputy Minister for the Ministries of Fisheries and Aquaculture shared with the Constituents some of the inputs and interventions she has done in the various sectors of the Constituency, notably among them is education – where she has personally supported over 200 Constituents to pay their school fees, and also where she has continued with her Free Holiday Classes for students in the JHS level.

Also, she informed her supporters about the very important roles she has played to ensure that good roads are done within the Constituency. She cited for example the Teshie Link Road, where her passionate appeal to the President, H.E President Mahama paved the way for funds to be sourced for that project.

Other speakers on the night were Hon Seth Badu-Tawiah, the MCE for the Ledzokuku-Krowor Municipal Assembly and Hon Patrick Noagbedzi, the NDC Constituency Chairman.

The novelty NDC General Meeting dubbed “NDC at your Doorstep” is meant to bring the General Meeting in the Ledzokuku Constituency closer to the general membership. So far, three electoral areas have been visited by the MP and her Constituency executives with the support of other NDC executives and functionaries from the Region and beyond. The next Meeting will be held at the Tsui Bleoo North electoral area.
