The SRC President of the University of Ghana, Peter Nana Asiedu, his vice, Mr. George Okwei Noi and the treasurer, Ms. Rosemary Adutwumwaa have sued two students of the University.
The suit which was filed at the High Court seeks to restrain the defendant, namely: Evans Panford and Delasi Ahamah, from publishing alleged defamatory articles against the plaintiffs. The said publications contain allegations of Visa Racketeering deals against the plaintiff.
The suit also seeks to put on injunction restraining the defendants, their agents and the media from publishing the said words or similar statements against the plaintiffs, until the court determines the suit.
The defendants have already filed their appearance at the court. They would soon file their defence, after which, the court will fix a date for hearing.
