Kweku Baako Jnr and Gabby Otchere Darko will in the next couple days fly over to Norway , the Lens can reveal. The Lens can further confirm that they are being sent by the Kufuor government as part of desperate moves by the NPP regime to find non existing evidence that will actualize the government’s agenda of “Nailing Rawlings” by every means.

Mr Kweku Baako on Thursday confirmed to Fifi Kwetey, the Managing Editor of The Lens that he was indeed travelling to Norway on Sunday. Of course, The Lens did not bother to ask who was financing the trip.

The Former President last week, threw a challenge to the Kufuor government to encourage its Attorney General and other financial wizards at the government’s disposal to investigate the issue.

It would appear that the response of the Kufuor government is to send the Managing Editors of the Crusading Guide and Statesman newspapers respectively.

Checks by The Lens on Thursday revealed that Gabby had already emplaned to UK from where he will be flying to Norway .

This is what President Rawlings told The Lens when the paper reached him for his comments on the government’s decision to send the two NPP unofficial spokesmen over to Norway instead of officials at the AG’s office or SFO or Bank of Ghana.

“Why waste money to send those two characters all the way, when they are so capable of fabricating their stories while in Ghana,” the former President said.

He said, that given the seriousness of the issue, one would have thought that if the government did not want to send experts who could conduct thorough financial investigations, they would at least have sent personalities like Arch Bishop Palmer Buckle and his colleagues who presided over the NRC, in order not to trivialize the investigations. That team of commissioners, could be led by Prof Henrietta Mensah Bonsu, the The Law Professor, he added.
