Ghana's former Minister of Finance, Seth Terkper was hosted by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Canada Chapter over the weekend to a well attended rally.

The rally which left an indelible mark on the Chapter was organised by the NDC Canada Chapter and hosted by its Chapter Organiser, Mike Ologo.

The event drew concerned Ghanaians from across the Diaspora to log in to listen to the astute former minister online.

Speaking at the event, Seth Terkper re-emphasised the home grown economic policy as a bus-stop measure to the borrowing spree of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.

According to the former finance minister, all the things the then-opposition NPP spoke against have been wrapped around their necks, adding that the Akufo Addo/Bawumia government has nothing to offer Ghanaians and must be voted out of power in the coming days.

Arguing that President John Mahama deserves another term to address the economic challenges, Seth Terkper said, "What Ghanaians want now is to bring back John Dramani Mahama to power to reset the economy so we can put the economy back on tracks."

Gameli, the NDC Canada Chapter chairman thanked all the Chapter members and charged them to remain united and work together to ensure victory come December 7th.

He rendered his appreciation to the international relations Directorate and to both the organising and the Communication Bureau of the NDC Canada Chapter for good work organising such a magnificent program.
