***PRESS RELEASE FROM DREAM ALIVE FOUNDATION (DAF) ***
THEME: MOVING FORWARD
Dream Alive Foundation (DAF) wishes to congratulate every Ghanaian for the Peaceful manner in which we conducted our elections and to also congratulate the NDC and the President elect on his election as the President elect of Ghana. This victory is for all Ghanaians and we must all rally behind our President elect in contributing our quota to the development of our beloved nation. We commend the Security agencies for their professionalism, the Peace council for their show of maturity and all the Political parties for the civility exhibited and to the entire nation for our patriotism.
We are appealing to all NDC supporters to be circumspect and safety conscious in their jubilation to avoid accidents on our roads. They (NDC supporters) must avoid provocative actions to curtail violent clashes with other party supporters and to all NPP sympathizers, please remain calm as we move forward as one people. Every election produces one winner, let’s respect the decision of the Ghanaian electorate and strive to keep national peace.
We call on all NPP supporters to exercise restraint and allow their leadership to use all the legal processes to address the party’s grievances. Violence cannot be used to determine who is right or wrong, let’s bury our differences and forge ahead as one people.
We urge President John Mahama to live up to his pledge to preside over a united Ghana. We are calling on all Ghanaians to stay focus and rally behind our president-elect to execute his party’s manifesto promises. Politics should keep us together and not to divide us, the development of our country should be our prime objective. God bless our homeland Ghana.
