Winneba (C/R), Dec. 27, GNA - The Right Reverend Dr. G. N. K. Zormelo, Bishop of the African Episcopal Zion Church, has appealed to all eligible voters to exhibit the highest degree of self-control and comportment when they go to their respective polling stations to cast their vote on Sunday.

He said that the best magic wand Ghanaians could use to transform the socio-economic conditions of the nation were peace, unity and above all, love towards each other.

Rt. Rev. Dr. Zormelo was addressing members of the Winneba branch of the A. M. E. Zion Church at a special pre-election service at Winneba on Saturday.

He called on members of the Church nation-wide, to remind their relations to comport themselves during, and after the exercise. Rt. Rev. Dr. Zormelo warned trouble makers, who were poised to foment trouble, to rescind their diabolical decisions because it would not help the nation in any way.

He reminded Ghanaians that the commendations the nation received from the world community following the excellent results chalked in the first round of the presidential and parliamentary elections on December 7 would be "meaningless if we perform abysmally in the second round". He expressed the hope and optimism that if Sunday's election were conducted in fair, transparent, and peaceful manner as expected by all, including representatives of the various foreign and local observer groups, the winner would be accepted and hailed by all.
