The Chief Executive Officer of Ernest Chemist, Dr. Ernest Bediako has urged Ghanaians to patronize made in Ghana products
According to him, probably Ghana-made products are not being packaged properly but with the patronage from Ghanaians, local companies will grow to compete internationally.
“The Chinese started from somewhere and now they are making it; they have that belief and confidence in themselves that they can do it because if I have done it then anybody can do it,” he said
Dr. Bediako said Ghanaians have the ability to turn their destiny around even though young entrepreneurs may be faced with some challenges, with determination and consistency they will succeed.
“I started my first factory without a business plan, I believe with determination Ghana can make it,” he added.
Dr. Bediako was speaking to a delegation from the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce (GNCC) led by the Chairman, Nana Appiah Agyei Dankanwuso, when they visited the new 11 square-kilometre manufacturing plant under construction at Klagon, Tema.
The visit is part of the GNCC’s plans to encourage its members and familiarize with their production processes
The pharmaceutical plant which is estimated to cost about $50 million is expected to be completed by end of year.
