FALLOUT FROM SMEAR AIDS CAMPAIGN AGAINST LENS MANAGING EDITOR

The Managing Editor of The Ghanaian Lens newspaper, Mr. Kobby Fiagbe, has stated his readiness to submit himself for any public examination to verify his HIV status, expressing the hope that Akufo Addo, New Patriotic Party (NPP) 2012 flagbearer and other public figures who are said to be drug addicts would also accept to submit themselves for public examinations."

Speaking to this paper in an exclusive interview yesterday, Mr. Fiagbe laughed off recent publications posted by some faceless persons on the internet, alleging that he has tested positive for HIV.

"First of all, I know my HIV status. I don't have HIV. Secondly, never, and I mean NEVER, in my whole life have I sought any form of medical care or assistance for any condition whatsoever from the 37 Military Hospital," Mr. Fiagbe stated. Asked what he intends to do about the publication, Mr. Fiagbe said, "all I can do for now is to see this as a challenge to prove my HIV status to allay any concern that people may have, for which reason I am prepared to submit myself for a public examination of my status. I only hope that other public figures who have huge clouds of doubt hanging over their heads in relation to drug abuse charges would also have the courage to agree to submit themselves for a public examination of their status in relation to drug abuse."

The opposition party’s hungry for power is pushing them to use fair and foul means including destroying NDC members perceived to be exposing their greed, corrupt acts and incompetence when the good people of Ghana gave them the mandate to rule.

Mr. Kwaku Twum Boafo, the Chief Executive Officer for free zone board fell victim to this dirty propaganda when he was accused of stashing millions of dollars in foreign countries.

Other NDC editors were said to receiving thousands of dollars from government every month
