Former President John Dramani Mahama has called on Ghanaians to remember the late Prof. John Evans Atta Mills was a father for all who was willing to open the doors of opportunities to everyone, irrespective of their political affiliation.
He said, “Ghana continues to be torn apart by partisan differences, that was what Prof. Mills tried to scale and so even though I think that people feel vengeful we must remember his characteristics and still try to live up to those values”.
He added that “as we celebrate the fifth anniversary, let us all remember what he stood for”.
Mr Mahama who was the Vice President of the late Prof. Mills said working with the late President was a great learning experience for him.
Even though he said he missed the late president very much, Mahama was quick to add that he was happy that Prof. Mills was in heaven and looking down on the country as “Ghana has continued to make progress”.
