Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, the minority leader and Tamale South legislator via Haruna Institute extends his seasonal greetings to all Christians on the occasion of the Christmas festivities.

Christmas is celebrated to mark the birth of Jesus Christ; a symbolism of joyous moments. So, it is often a time for merriments and get-togethers. The yuletide is a season where the whole world is engaged in a conspiracy of love. This is the time family and friends both far and near reach out to one another to have a toast over the ups and downs of the passing year and reflect on the future.

Whiles, we partake in the big parties, we should try to spare some time to reach out to those who do not have the wherewithal to enjoy the fun of Jesus’ arrival as Deuteronomy 16:17 professes. This Christmas may be the driest but let share at least our time with our dearest and nearest.
