Ekumfi Ekrawfo (C/R), May 24, GNA - The Ekumfi Circuit of the Methodist Church has honoured Nana Osam Kwekuenowaa, the Queen mother of Ekumfi Atwa, for single-handedly constructing a chapel for the community at the cost of two billion cedis.

She was presented with a cloth and a certificate at the annual camp meeting of the Circuit at Ekrawfo.

The Very Reverend Albert E.K. Abban, Superintendent Minister, who made the presentation, said it was only a person imbued with the spirit of God who could do what Nana Kwekuenowaa had done. He commended her and urged other well-to-do people to emulate the queen mother.

Addressing the congregation, Mr Robert Quainoo-Arthur, Mfantseman District Chief Executive, exhorted Christians to do to God what they want God to do for them and that they should donate generously for the work of God since all good things came from God. Mr Robert Quainoo-Arthur appealed to politicians to seek God's protection in whatever they do, adding that without God they cannot achieve anything.

He appealed to the clergy to help politicians through prayers to perform.

In a sermon on the theme: "Go into the whole nation and make disciples," Rev. Abban said the theme was a command given by God to all Christians, which they must to obey.
