A former NDC Parliamentary Aspirant in the Tema East Constituency, Nii Tetteh Bediako Kraku, has presented assorted food items to the Constituency Secretariat of the party.
The items, which include some 200 bags of rice, vegetable oil, tin fish, etc. are meant for onward distribution to vulnerable constituents to relieve them in this era of restriction on movement.
Presenting the items, former Campaign Director of Team Kraku, Mr. Charles Amoako Brobbey, indicated that Mr. Nii Kraku’s gesture was occasioned by the hardship that is being faced by some constituents as a result of the imposition of restriction on movement. He said this was the best time for all key party stakeholders and other well-meaning philanthropists to come to the aid of our vulnerable citizens and institutions.
Receiving the items, the Constituency Chairman , Mr Mahama Bulsa , expressed appreciation to Mr. Bediako Kraku for his continuous support and selflessness. He said this was not the first of such gestures by the former parliamentary aspirant. On Saturday April 4, Mr. Bediako Kraku donated medical consumables including soap, hand sanitizers, paper towels and Veronica buckets to the constituency secretariat. He called on other key party functionaries, especially within the Tema East Constituency, to follow in this example.
