Accra, Oct. 5, GNA - The London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) would visit Ghana from October 15 to October 19, The British High Commission announced in Accra on Wednesday.
On the visit would be a group of 15 British companies promoting a wide range of products and services - from air conditioners to pharmaceuticals, and from electronics to laboratory equipment, it said.
Commenting on the upcoming mission, Mr Craig Pym, World Trade Executive for LCCI, said: "Relations between Ghana and the UK are currently very strong and we want to strengthen the ties further on this visit. All the companies in this delegation are very professional and have proven track records in the UK. I am confident that these companies have a lot to offer Ghanaian businesses." The High Commission said companies on the mission represented a range of sectors and products.
The mission participants include manufacturers of electronic test systems, power generation products, air conditioners, agricultural machinery, and laboratory equipment. Other companies are promoting electrical fittings, giftware and pharmaceutical products. It said several companies are also promoting their services. Mission delegates are offering ICT and management consultancy, legal and financial services and shipping services.
