Lordina Foundation offer scholarships to 21 students

The Lordina Foundation with support from the Chinese Government has offered schorlarship to 21 Ghanaian brilliant but needy students to study in China.

The scholarship offered to Ghanaian students by China is the second highest on the continent.

The First Lady Lordina Mahama said this in Accra when she met with the students at the Chinese Ambassador's residence in Accra.

She asked the students to put the knowledge they will acquire from their studies in China into in promoting the economic and social development agenda of the country.

The Chinese Ambassador to Ghana, Sun Boanhong, said China will continue to assist Ghanaian students to obtain any form of education in that country.

She stated that the Scholarships offered to the students are part of the Chinese Government's efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
