It is not only in the United States where lottery officials are coming up with the quickest way to get into the pockets of gamblers. Lotteries in other countries are also racking their brains looking for innovative ways to reach gamblers.

The National Lottery Authority in Ghana has come up with a plan that could change the way people all over the world gamble on the lottery. They have created a new lottery game that can be played through text messages.

The game is called 'Mobi-Game 2 Sure', and it is centered around people predicting two numbers between one and ninety. If anyone accurately predicts the two numbers, they are a winner. Their guesses can be text messaged before the drawing.

"These days, it is no longer about doing one big game each year, but rather a couple of little but highly profitable games that can add up to bigger sales and using text messaging is one of those marketing tools that bring new players into the gaming arena," said Director-General of the NLA, Kojo Andah.

The government has assured that all of the precautions that are necessary were taken to ensure that the game had security. They also claim that through the security measures, the game will be free of fraud.

The government is trying to raise their lottery revenue to help in areas of financial need. This game is just one of the games that is expected to be unveiled by the lottery.
