Lotto Agent dies in a football match at Krofrom

A 28-year-old Lotto Agent, Kwasi Bonsu, met his untimely death during Christmas Inter Community football gala games at Serwaa Nyarko Park at New Tafo (Krofrom) in Kumasi on Wednesday January 3, 2018.

According to an eyewitness who gave his name as on Kinksley who spoke to Otec News’ Jacob Agyenim Boateng said ‘Atem’, as he was affectionately called, jumped to challenge an aerial ball, fell on the ground and never got up.

“When the game was on-going, Bonsu jumped to challenge an aerial ball, fell on the ground, we thought he would get up but still lied on the ground. We rushed to him and found him unconscious he was quickly rushed to the Manhyia Government Hospital where he was pronounced death on arrival,” he explained.

"He was such a great lad. It's just devastating."

The body has since been deposited at the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital's morgue for autopsy.
