Joseph Anane, a deacon of the True Faith Church branch at Alajo, has appealed to Ghanaians to develop love for one another and develop a communal spirit with intercessory prayers.

“Love for one another leads to conflict resolution and peace,” he said.

Deacon Anane made the call in an interview with the Ghana News Agency when the church held a three-day revival in Accra under the theme “What God has said about you shall prevail".

He said the revival was to ask God to redeem mankind from the multiple hardships that are prevailing in the world.

Deacon Anane appealed to politicians to avoid insults whilst on platforms and to endeavour to protect the peace and freedom of the citizenry. He called on the electorate to do away with tribal sentiments saying “we are one people, one nation with a common destiny.

Elder Noah Nkansah, Social Welfare Chairman of the Alajo branch of the church, said for democracy to thrive in the country, Ghanaians must support a good leader who would bring progress and development to the people.

He advised civil servants to abstain from corruption and stealing of public items.

Other speakers at the revival were Evangelist Emmanuel Boateng, Evangelist Thomas Owusu and Deacon Job Gyebi, all members of the True Faith Church.**
