Political Marketing expert, Prof. Kobby Mensah, has suggested that the patronage of restaurants, pubs, and eateries serves as a perfect economic indicator of a government's failure.

He recalls that in 2013, when he returned to Ghana from the United Kingdom, Jessie's at Adenta—a pub he frequented—was bustling with people every weekend.

However, the pub has recently struggled to attract even 20 patrons in a day.

Prof. Kobby Mensah believes that if the government were not failing, people would have continued to frequent such establishments as they used to.

Political Marketing expert, Kobby Amoah PhD, has indicated that a perfect economic indicator of government’s failure is the patronage of restaurants, pubs and eateries.

He says in 2013 when he left the United Kingdom for Ghana, Jessie’s at Adenta; a pub he frequented had people there every weekend.

However, in recent times, the pub has struggled to get even 20 people in a day in recent times.

Prof Kobby Mensah is of the view that if the government isn’t a failed government, the people would have continued trooping in like they used to.

His post read “A very simple and perfect economic indicator on the street In 2013 when I returned to Ghana Jessie’s at Adenta used to be full of people from Friday to Sunday. Today, Jessie’s can hardly count 20 people at any time and day hashtag#FailedGovernment“
