MP denies rumours of his resignation

The NDC Member of Parliament for Ayawaso East, Dr Mustapha Ahmed has denied media reports that he plans to resign from the party.

According to the report posted on the website of a local radio station, Dr Ahmed was going to follow in the footsteps of the NDC MP for Tamale Central Professor Wayo Seini and become the second MP in a week to resign from the party.

Dr Mustapha Ahmed has however described the report as untrue.

He told JOY News he harbors no such intentions.
