Begoro (E/R), Sept. 29, GNA - The MP for Fanteakwa, Mr Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, has donated a computer with a printer, costing 3.5 million cedis to the Fanteakwa Traditional Council.

Making the presentation at Begoro on Saturday, during the Odwira festival, Mr Ofosu-Ampofo said the computer was purchased from his share of the Common Fund.

He said twelve more computers would be purchased for the three Senior Secondary Schools, the Begoro community library and some communities in the Fanteakwa District.

The MP said he would sponsor four people to undergo training to operate the computers at the secretariat of the Council. He expressed concern about delays by the District Assembly in releasing his share of the Common Fund.

Osabarima Awuah Kotoko II, Begorohene, thanked the MP for the gesture and promised that the computer would be used to gather and store data for the development of the district.
