MP for Ayawaso North donates desks and books to schools in constituency

Member of Parliament for Ayawaso North Hon Yussif Jajah in collaboration with Forewin Ghana Limited and Kawasho Foods have donated dual desks, books and some food items to selected schools in the constituency. 

The presentation was made on the morning of Friday 9th November 2018, at the premises of EP Bethel School in the Kwaotsuru electoral area to the circuit supervisor Mr Theophilus Adjei to be distributed, among some selected schools, in order to support education in the Constituency.

He commended the management of Forewin Company limited and Kawasho Foods for taking the initiative to improve education in the Constituency and the country as a whole.

Kawasho foods (producers of Geisha food mackerel) and Forewin Ghana Limited supported the lawmaker, as part of their Corporate Social Responsibilities, to help improve education in the country. Mr. Masa from Kawasho foods said the company since it’s establishment in the early 1960’s have invested in education and helped schools in most deprived areas in the country. He pledged to continue to help with education in the Constituency.

Director of Forewin Ghana limited Mr. Sam Zacca said they have partnered with Kawasho foods to provide good foods to Ghanaians since the early 1960s, and are dedicated to helping improve education in the Country.



The donation was part of many donations made by the Member of Parliament, Hon. Yussif Jajah in the educational sector. Having previously donated more than 300 Dual desks, mathematical sets, laptops to various schools, and just Last month he gave out scholarships to 100 students in the constituency.

These gestures are being made to help promote teaching and learning in the constituency.
