Adwoa Agyarkwa Anyimadu-Antwi, a former student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and first daughter of Kwame Ayimadu-Antwi, Member of Parliament (MP) for Asante Akim Central will be laid to rest today at Petreansa near Konongo in the Ashanti Region.
The deceased hanged herself in room 141 of the Independence Hall on the University campus a week ago over what is yet to be uncovered.
There are varying reports that the deceased, 18, and a Chemistry student committed suicide because she was jilted in her relationship.
Others also believe she trailed in semester examination committing the act to save herself from friends and family embarrassment but both claims have been denied by authorities of KNUST has denied.
MPs both from minority and minority sides in parliament, students and the general public are expected to commiserate with the family at KNUST campus where the body is currently lying in state.
Meanwhile, the Ashanti Regional Police Command has launch full investigation into the matter to know the true cause of her death.
