Media and Technology Institute of Ghana (MTIG) has launched its maiden edition of National Communication Honours 2019 aimed at recognising giants in the Ghanaian communication industry.
The maiden edition being held under the theme “Communications and National Development” will reward those who have contributed significantly to the media’s growth and building the new set of communication giants.
The event will feature a fantastic communications conference with a number of high profile speakers followed by an awards gala ceremony.
The conference which targets media practitioners, telecommunications companies, information technology companies, corporate affairs directors and individuals will serve as a platform where communications impact to the development of Ghana will be discussed and also serve as a platform for mentoring, empowering and connecting the next generation of communication leaders.
According to Richmond Anim Damoah, CEO of MTIG, the event “will serve as a national platform for recognizing the great works and impact of communication practitioners in Ghana”.
He said the event will be a springboard for many who aspire to reach higher heights with their works, efforts and contribution in the media and communications industry in Africa and Ghana in particular.
