The beef between two Tamale-based artistes is expected to come to an end anytime soon as one has extended an olive branch to the other.
Maccasio has hinted that the hostile relationship between him and rival Fancy Gadam could soon be a thing of the past hinting of a possible unity concert.
In an interview with award-winning Disc Joker, DJ Slim on #PureDrive monitored by MynewsGh.com, the musician emphasized that he has plans of hosting a concert in Tamale with Fancy Gadam but yet to find a headline sponsor.
“I’m planning a concert with my brother soon. The only challenge now is a headline sponsor and I believe Adonko Company will show up to support this long-desired concert” he said.
Asked about a supposed rivalry between himself and Fancy Gadam, he stated that ‘every musician wants to get to the top, so definitely there will be times we disagree. However, that doesn’t make us enemies’.
“In music, there is always the possibility of something like that happening between the two of us”. He said smiling.
On his relationship with Shatta Wale, the Dagomba Girl hitmaker praised him for his continuous support and hinted on his new feature with Shatta Wale which will be out soon.
Maccasio pledged to take music on a different level and make Northern Ghana the hub of good music.
