Former President and flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, as part of his #SpeakOut session in the Northern Region, on Wednesday, paid a courtesy call on chiefs in the Tamale metropolis.
Mr Mahama visited and interacted with the Lamashe-Naa Ziblim, Nyab-Dakpema, Nyab-Gukpenaa and the Tamale Bug-Lana.
A post on his Facebook Timeline reads "I thanked them for their leadership and maintaining the peace in their communities."
Mr Mahama then assured them that "the National Democratic Congress (NDC), our MPs and Parliamentary Candidates, that we will continue to engage in a politics of ideas, promote national unity and development."
