His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama has began the second phase of his donations to some veterans in the movie and music industry – a selfless act of contributing to the entertainment industry he has been supporting for years now.

The second phase of the donation which is being led by actor, Mr. beautiful, and supported by Coordinator for celebrities for JM (Mustapha inusah) Nii Attractive, saw AB Crentsil and Awurama Badu — received items, huge amount of money and health plans.

Speaking to the ace Highlife musician, Awurama Badu, after the donation, she expressed her profound gratitude, and told GhanapoliticsOnline.Com that, she and President Mahama know each other very well and she can confidently say that this is not the first time the President has helped people in the arts; especially the veterans.

She added that, she always want to meet the President one on one for some open discussion, and that the President sending someone to her alone is enough. The popular musician who made hits with songs such as “Komkom”, “Medofo adaada me” and “Emelia” revealed that she used to be a strong CPP member but for some time now she has given her votes to John Mahama and going to vote for him again in 2016 if she’s alive during elections.

“If I die before elections I will still like to vote for John Mahama. If the state will give me that opportunity” she said. She used the opportunity to thank the President for the kindness and support he has portrayed for the veteran entertainers who are no longer active in the game.

“God will let John Mahama win the elections. God won’t make John Mahama lose- in fact he has won the elections already and you can mark it” she said. AB Crentsil on the other hand, said that, he appreciates President Mahama’s effort for the veterans, something that none of the past Presidents have ever done before.
