Mahama must leave a legacy – Rev. Anyani Boadum

A renowned preacher, Reverend Dr. Nana Anyani Boadum has urged President John Dramani Mahama not to surround himself with passive elements in his government who will not help him achieve any better gains.

He explains the President needs constructive criticism for him to toe the line of good governance, hence he [Mahama] allowing himself to be flanked by what he describes as ‘yes sir people’ will not inure to his benefit in his administration.

In an interaction with Fiifi Banson on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa 102.3 FM Monday, the General Overseer of the Jesus Generation Ministries said if he had opportunity to meet the President, he will only advise him to strive to leave a legacy worth noting, especially as he rounds up his administration for his four-year term of office.

Ghana returns to the polls this year to elect a new leader.

John Dramani Mahama is leading the ruling National Democratic Congress to face off with the major opposition New Patriotic Party and a host of other political parties in the 2016 elections, as the four-year mandate given the NDC-government expires in November 7.

In his own words Rev. Boadum stated that “so far so good, but Mahama needs to do more and he must leave a legacy.”
