The United KidaFront has appealed to President John Dramani Mahama to reconsider the increase in fuel prices as it has added to the woes of the average Ghanaian.
In an interview with Citi News, the Media Communications Director of United KidaFront, Carmelos Sakzeeti indicated that, “The increase in fuel by the NPA is unfortunate as the NDC promised to better the lives of the average Ghanaian” he said.
According to him, the increment in fuel prices would go a long way to affect the poor and vulnerable in society since they are the direct beneficiaries.
He appealed to President Mahama to deal drastically with the persons believed to be running down the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR).
He noted that if their activities are not stopped, it would cause disaffection for his (President Mahama) administration thereby making it unpopular.
