A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) communication team in the Brong Ahafo region Appraku Tuffour, popularly known as Tarzan, has advised President John Dramani Mahama to resign honourably to prevent further embarrassment.

He described the rampant strike actions in the country in recent times as shocking. Speaking on a Sunyani based radio station Ark FM he mentioned emphatically that President Mahama lacks the capability to address the current labour unrest.

Mr Tuffour noted that the current leadership, under President Mahatma, had failed to provide alternatives to tackle the challenges bedeviling the country.

He noted that the country could experience turmoil if President Mahama continues to stay in office as head of state due to his abysmal performance.

However, the NPP communication member appealed to the president to put his words into action in order to resolve problems in the country or resign peacefully.

However, the Propaganda Secretary of the NDC in the Brong Ahafo region, Collins Mahama believes President John Mahama is capable of managing the affairs of the country.
