Mahama re-registers as an NDC member
Former President John Dramani Mahama on Tuesday, 30 January 2018, re-registered as a member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) at Bole in the Northern Region.
Mr Mahama, while attending a meeting at his local NDC branch at the Bole District Assembly, used the opportunity to register.
Mr Mahama shared pictures of his registration and meeting on social media.
The NDC commenced a nationwide registration of its members late last year.
The party said its biometric register lacked integrity and credibility and, therefore, cannot be relied upon for any meaningful internal elections.
The party decided, therefore, to throw away the register and start a new process of registering NDC members manually.
