The Convention People’s Party (CPP) has described the first hundred days of the Mahama administration as the worst Ghanaians have ever experienced.
According to the party, corruption and gross mismanagement has been the lot of the current government.
Tuesday April 16, marks a 100 days since the president was sworn into office after the December 7 general elections.
Speaking to XYZ News, the communications director of the CPP Nii Armah Akomfrah said Ghanaians are now experiencing incompetence under this administration.
“The majority in this country would characterise the last 100 days in three words, crisis, crisis, crisis. Many would go on to say that this has been a hundred days of discontent” Mr. Akomfrah said.
He added that “many more would even go on to say this is the worst 100 days in the history of this country. Mismanagement in this country is now at the peak and corruption has been laced with arrogance.
But Pollster and managing editor of the Daily Dispatch newspaper says President Mahama should be excited his first 100 days in office has been difficult and challenging.
Ben Ephson who admitted the President has had a tough time within the first three months of his government, said the president has done a good job.
Speaking to XYZ News, Mr. Ephson said the President must re-strategize and tackle other issues relating to Job creation, environmental and sanitation challenges of the nation in the coming years.
PNC General Secretary Bernard Mornah also told XYZ News that in spite of the challenges confronting the administration, there is a clear road map toward addressing the concerns.
