Mahama’s appointees are sabotaging him - Kofi Wayo

Maverick politician Chuck Kofi Wayo has disclosed that the woes of President John Dramani Mahama should solely be blamed on his appointees who, he indicates, are sabotaging his administration.

He points out that most of the avoidable errors witnessed under the President’s administration are committed by his appointees who are either ignorant or are engaging in such practices just to undermine and sabotage the President’s administration.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with ultimate1069.com, the outspoken politician proposed that the president overhauls his administration if he is determined to win the confidence of Ghanaians ahead of the general elections.

“He needs to be tough. He must fire and hire in order to win the confidence of Ghanaians because his appointees are the ones sabotaging his administration,” he disclosed.

According to him, the President needs to toughen his stance and take very critical decisions regarding some of his appointees in order to succeed and win the confidence of Ghanaians ahead of November 7 polls.

Mr. Wayo said the political leadership in Ghana had let down the electorate, therefore, the need for new a breed of leadership to chart a path towards developing the country in line with the vision of Ghana’s first president, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

“We are where we are because our leaders have sold all the state-owned organizations for their personal benefit,” he disclosed.
