Mahama’s campaign team denies allegations of MoU with Russian oligarchs over Ghana’s resources

The campaign team of NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama has denied a report claiming that he has a Memorandum of Understanding with Russian oligarchs to sell Ghana's resources if elected as president.

The report, featured in some media outlets, suggested that "just as Ghanaians saw at the end of Mahama's administration in 2016 when he unilaterally handed over the country's bauxite to his brother Ibrahim Mahama, he plans to do the same if he wins the 2024 election."

However, John Mahama's spokesperson, Joyce Bawah Mogtari, stated that this claim is false and should be treated with the contempt it deserves.
