Mahama’s gov’t has been disappointing – Samia

The Chair Person of the Convention People's Party, Samia Nkrumah has expressed her disappointment in the Mahama-led administration.

She, however, says the disappointment of the CPP goes beyond the current and the erstwhile Kufour governments.

“Like many Ghanaians, I think we are all disappointed.

“But our disappointment and that of the CPP, goes beyond this NDC government or the previous NPP government,” the former MP told Starr Drive host Bola Ray on Thursday.

According to her, the country is not developing because the path of development chosen by leaders in the helm of affairs is wrong.

“The path we’ve chosen to development is wrong. Ghana should go back to its independent past, an independent Ghanaian past; as we did with the first republic,” she noted.

In her view, until the country returns to the initial development model introduced by her father, Ghana’s first President, Dr Kwame Nkrumah, the nation will be going round in circles without any actual development.
