Mahama's hired free SHS 'Saboteurs' unmasked

After spirited attempts by the handlers of former President John Dramani Mahama and their media collaborators to rubbish our story on the alleged plot to sabotage a successful implementation of President Akufo-Addo’s Free SHS policy, the identities of the South African nationals hired to spearhead the plot are being gradually unmasked.

The Daily Statesman Tuesday reported on how former President Mahama was allegedly seeking collaboration with some elements in the Ghana Education Service and the Bureau of National Investigations, sympathetic to the cause of the NDC, to sabotage the smooth take-off of the free SHS policy, due to start in September this year.

This paper, based on intelligence information, reported that the former President, who is harbouring the intention of leading the NDC again in the 2020 elections, believes that a successful implementation of the free SHS policy could have the potential of spoiling his chances of becoming President again, judging by the way the policy had been received by majority of Ghanaians.

Some hired South African nationals have, therefore, embarked on a nationwide tour, gathering data and seeking ways that can be employed to sabotage the successful implementation of the policy, on the alleged directive of the former president.

Known to be IT experts, the Daily Statesman can confirm that the hired ‘saboteurs’ are moving with sophisticated gadgets to aid their information gathering activities.

Mrs Bawa Mogtari, an Aide to the former president, in a statement to debunk our earlier story, claimed it was impossible for the ex-President who does not control the state kitty to carry out the alleged diabolic intention and that, “Government has huge challenges with implementing a campaign promise to make education at the Senior High School level free for all students, both day and boarders, and starting from the next academic year.”

For now, we expect Joyce Bawa and her boss, ex-president Mahama, to tell Ghanaians who brought in these South African nationals, and who is sponsoring them in their movements across the country.

Again, the ex-Ghana leader and his camp ought to tell Ghanaians about the exact activities of these South African nationals in the Central and Volta Regions.
