The Vice-Presidential candidate for former President John Dramani Mahama, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, has reassured Ghanaians that Mahama's return to power will bring about significant relief and positive changes for the country.
Speaking during her tour of markets in the Greater Accra Region, including Mallam Market, Lapaz New Market, and Dome markets, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang emphasized that John Mahama is committed to implementing policies that will genuinely benefit the Ghanaian people.
Prof. Opoku-Agyemang criticized the current administration under President Nana Akufo-Addo, stating that Ghanaians have been deceived by unfulfilled promises.
She urged the electorate to rally behind the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and support Mahama in the upcoming elections, assuring them that Mahama will never deceive the people as Nana Akufo-Addo has done.
According to her, the NDC's policies are designed to alleviate the economic burdens that have plagued the country in recent years.
She called on Ghanaians to trust in Mahama’s leadership and vision, emphasizing that his track record speaks for itself. "The hardships that Ghanaians are enduring under this administration will be a thing of the past once Mahama returns to office," she said.
