“President Mahama would be removed from office as the ruling president of Ghana on January 2017, if elections are not held on December 7 as announced by the EC”, says New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Aspirant for the Adentan Constituency, Lawyer Yaw Buabeng Asamoah.

Yaw Buabeng Asamoah is so confident his party will come out victorious after the December 7 elections because according to him, there is no way Ghanaians will vote for President John Mahama.

“This is because his term of office would have ended and there would be no need for him to still remain our president when the laws of the land are against that. Frankly, we won’t allow him when his term of office is over, we all want to work by the laws of the state as the EC has already stated…I know the NDC and what they are about doing in their closets; trying to delay the up-coming elections just to mismanage tax payers money…but it is too late for them to introduce those corrupt strategies of theirs this time around” he indicated.

Speaking on UTV’s Adekye Nsroma with host Yaa Konamah, he added “it has never happened in the record books of this country that election time table is not out when we have less than two months to go for our national elections”.
