Malta Guinness drinks worth millions of cedis destroyed in terrible accident

Three persons transporting assorted drinks including Malta Guinness products were involved in an accident few kilometres to reach their destination.

The long vehicle with registration number GS-1203-17 they were travelling involved in the accident about 2 pm in Adaklu Trefe township near Ho, leaving the driver in critical condition and the other two young men on board sustaining severe injuries.

According to eyewitnesses, the vehicle although was not speeding could not carefully negotiate a T-junction curve, losing balance and fell on the passenger side with its four wheels upsides.

Police at the scene could not provide enough details but indicated that the victims were rushed to the Ho Teaching Hospital for treatment while the vehicle and damaged goods will be under security watch until the owners appeared.

Starrfm.com.gh understands that the goods, including crates of Gulder beer, were been transported from Accra through Accra-Sogakope highway and destined to Ho Guinness Depot.

Residents say they have experienced several vehicular accidents on the venue hence the need for measures to avoid further accidents.
