Man butchered to coma by rival over girlfriend

Kofi Willy, 34, has been seriously injured after his alleged rival butchered him to coma at Gomoa Nkwantanan in the Gomoa East of the Central Region.

He sustained deep cuts to the head, hands, and fingers almost chopped off.

The victim upon resuscitation told Kingdom FM’s Central Regional Correspondent Kaakyire Kweku Ademah that after being in a queue to obtain his Ghana Card, he decided to go home for food.

Narrating the incident, Kofi Willy said upon entering his room, he heard a moaning sound only to see his wife having sex with another man in their matrimonial bed.

“I got to my room and realized that a certain man is having sex with my wife on my bed. Upon approaching my wife with whom I have two kids, the man quickly picked a cutlass and started butchering me, he said.

The suspect, has, however, been apprehended by the Awutu Beraku District Police Command.
